Platform Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of APIs, Microservices, and Application Platforms, with a strong emphasis on cloud and database management.
• Take ownership of Project and Release Management, ensuring timely delivery and smooth deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain DevOps and DevSecOps strategies, focusing on automation, monitoring, and security solutions.
• Drive cloud migration efforts, from initial design to full deployment, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Apply test-driven development methodologies to deliver high-quality, reliable code.
• Build and optimize front-end and back-end services using JavaScript, Node.js, and other modern frameworks.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects by translating technical requirements, conducting unit tests, and ensuring clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of coding experience, with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with both front-end and back-end development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Strong understanding of API architecture, microservices, and database management, along with expertise in Project and Release Management.
• In-depth knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices and experience deploying security and monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, automation, and testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in an agile environment, using SCRUM or Kanban methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field—or 5–10 years of equivalent experience.
